Standard vs Automatic

So... I've had my "luxury" van now for a year. My BRIGHT FREAKING RED IN YOUR FACE mini van... I had just dropped of Nibling2 to preschool and started around the courner. I put my left foot down solidly on the floor and reached for the gear shift. HELLLLOOO Automatic transmition. Sheesh. KOOO KOOO.
